Wimberley is a beautiful little community smack dab between Austin and San Antonio. If you are flying into the workshop, you can look at flights to both airports and plan for 45 minutes to an hour commute from either one to Kevin’s house. From some destinations, it’s cheaper to fly into Austin and from others, it’s cheaper to fly into San Antonio, so be sure to check both. If you need help getting from the airport, let us know. We can help arrange either a taxi or a fellow workshopper to pick you up and get you to Wimberley.
Wimberley offers a charming getaway destination if you have a friend or spouse who’d like to come to the area with you. Often we have “trailing spouses” attend for a reduced fee. They will eat all their meals with us, attend or listen in to as many sessions as they choose to participate in, and then spend the rest of their time relaxing by the pool or poking around the little shops in Wimberley. There’s also floating down the Blanco River, attending the theater (like this one or this one), swimming in Blue Hole, watching a glass blower, or ziplining across the hills. Wimberley Zipline is the #1 Wimberley destination and is almost walking distance from Kevin’s front porch.
